SURF & YOGA IN KERALA, INDIA
Need a break? A chance to recharge to rejuvenate and to reinvigorate? Are you interested in surfing or yoga in India – or better still a combination of the two – well, that’s what we do and our customers tell us we do it pretty well. We’re closed now for the summer monsoon season, but are open next winter season in Varkala, Kerala. We’re open from October 6th 2014 until the end of May 2015 next season. Contact us for booking enquiries and to grab yourself a space if you want to practice yoga, to meditate, to relax, to recharge and hang out or to surf the beautiful coastlines and warm water waves of Kerala, India.
Retreat Weeks in Kerala
This coming season in Kerala we’re also adding some more intensive, intimate and personally hosted week-long retreats focusing deeply on either restorative yoga, surfing development or total body awareness. Check our retreats page for details.
We are also expanding the Pop-Ups we do in different but special locations: We’re doing two retreats in Sri Lanka in November 2014 and February 2015 and another Andaman Islands surf adventure in April 2015. Oh, and we’ve just added an experimental trip to Banda Aceh in Indonesia next March.
Our home in Varkala
We’ve been surfing at beautiful, tourist free beaches, points and jetties surrounding Varkala, Kerala each morning with our guests since October 2010. We’ve enjoyed sunset Yoga sessions each evening on our roof top, we’ve had beach bonfires at the foot of our steps and barbeques a-plenty in our beautiful gardens, and our outdoor clifftop surf-cinema with stone-baked pizza has been a real hit but it’s really about great people – our guests and the Soul & Surf team that have really made it special. So, come and join us for some Soul, Surf, Yoga and Indian good times.
We set up Soul & Surf with the intention to do something positive, however small and insignificant it may seem. So alongside our aim of giving our guests a dose of health, inspiration and good times we are committed to giving something back on three different scales; on our doorstep with our surf club for village kids, locally with our support for the charity SISP in Kerala and globally with our commitment to donate 1% For The Planet.
