Jobs

We want to hear from determined, resilient, passionate people from all over the world. People who are keen to help Soul & Surf be the sustainable-ish surf & yoga company that quietly weaves mindfulness into everything it does: trips that support our local communities, travel which recognises the climate crisis; building a community that shares our values; aiming to be part of the solution not the problem.

Just make sure that you include a CV and cover letter, otherwise we’ll assume you’re not really that serious.

Service Host – a payment in kind worker

We are hiring for our volunteer program and are looking for like minded people to come and join us for the upcoming season.

The role is mainly guest-facing as well as supporting the management in all things from manning the cafe and bar, to serving and hosting meals and spending time with our guests as well as keeping the place looking fantastic and keeping the vibes high.

We’re looking for people who are hard working with hospitality experience, professional and proactive. You’ll be a good communicator and a great team player – and, of course, love your fair share of yoga and surf.

This is a non-salaried role which is for a duration of 2 months  and would suit someone who is keen to experience living and working in a different country. Although you won’t receive a monthly income, the benefits are substantial if you take advantage of the free surf lessons, equipment hire, yoga classes as well as food and accommodation in a shared tent or caravan. There are push bikes available so you have a bit of freedom while you are here.

This role is for two months in the 2024 season (between April and November.) Please mention in your application which two months would be your preference.

Use the form below to contact us and give us a quick overview paragraph or two with the reasons why you’d be a good fit for Soul & Surf in particular demonstrating a good understanding of us, our ethos and our background, plus attach your CV and let us know what role is more suited to you.

If you don’t put all this lot together for us we’ll have to presume you’re not really serious about the position.

We’re looking for people that are able to take responsibility for running their own shift as we are a small team,  – and, of course, you must have a passion for food and eating!
