Finally...  we have info for this summer's surf tours to Lakshadweep!

We've teamed up with India surf pioneers India Surf Tours - the people who took Dave Rastovich & Taylor Steele to 'that' wave for the Castles in the Sky movie - who have the place wired and are offering 9 trips over the summer from May until September to surf these epic waves: Rasta's and Satya's. Each trip lasts for 12 days including the boat trip to the islands giving 9 surfing days and you will have everything covered, accomodation, food, transport, permits, etc. You just need to turn up and surf.

Andaman Island — Spring 2013, It's On!

We just got back from a final research trip to the Andmans, trying to organise stuff remotely just does not work on these far-flung raw and rugged islands, but we now have the info we need to run a proper, organised tour....

But it will have to be for next year now as the season is short and already drawing to a close. Access to the best breaks in the Andamans is restricted due to tribal reserves being out of bounds and boat access extremely limited, but we think we have got what we need to gain access by road and boat to some of the best waves on offer in these incredible, un-spoiled and beautiful islands. Things can change in an instant in this part of the world but as things stand we have permits to access 4 remote breaks overland, we have permission and a boat to access at least 3 more breaks (+ more to be discovered) as well as the 3 breaks accessible to all. There are lefts, rights, barrels, long walls, bowls and more on offer on these coral fringed reef passes but not much in the way of beach-break so it's only for surfers who are confident surfing reef breaks. We have also secured the only new-build AC accommodation in the region and a cool jeep to get around.

We plan to make our first trip at the end of March 2013 and to squeeze one or two more in before the prime swell season ends.
