Most of our rooms are in a modern hotel block at the back of the grounds and are simple, clean with touches of style and our Soul & Surf eye for detail. We also have a few rooms in our 150-year-old traditional Kerala style building, which whilst smaller have some real character, a private verandah and your own patch of garden looking out over the ocean.
We provide the basics like free Wi-Fi, bath towels, fresh linen and a hotel decorated with style, care and an attention to detail way beyond the usual ‘surf camp’ or Kerala hotel basics. But we should point out we are not a full-blown 5-star style hotel with 24hr reception, room service etc.
It's more like if your surfing/yogi friends had a massive house in the tropics and invited you to come and stay – you'd hope it would be a bit like this.

Our Rooms
We are walking distance to the tourist focused Varkala Cliff to enjoy westernised amenities and we surf the beaches up and down the coast from here, yet we’re far enough away from most of the hotels to feel like we’re really in India… We have three levels of rooms: a couple of basic but clean en-suite rooms for the budget conscious, some good sized rooms with balconies or verandahs and stylish touches in our mid-range (a couple have AC available at extra cost) and some nicer, bigger rooms with AC.

When you book we’ll assign you a room that best suits your needs whether you are a single traveller, a couple or a family. Please add a note to your booking if you have a particular or special request.
For families travelling together we can assign rooms next door to one another to keep you together and we can add beds or cots to rooms to keep prices reasonable.
